As many of you are aware the practice is operating a 100% remote triage service using telephone and video consultations in line with NHS England guidance, any patients that need to be seen face to face are being seen at Tarporley following a conversation with a clinician. The latest guidance from NHS England suggests that we will be working in this way for some time and we have put measures in place to ensure that we can see all patient groups in a safe environment at Tarporley. Our branch surgeries at Kelsall and Ashton are temporarily closed while we are operating a different model of General Practice during the Covid-19 Pandemic. In order to support our colleagues at Kelsall Medical Centre during the pandemic, we have offered them the additional consulting room at Old Bank Surgery to help them to manage their face to face appointments given the limitations of their building. They plan to start seeing some of their patients at the Old Bank Surgery from later this week.
If you need to contact the practice please do so by telephone or via online services on the website. Please do not come into the practice unless you have a pre-arranged face to face appointment. You will be advised when your appointment is booked whether you should come into the waiting room or stay in your car on arrival at the practice; this is to help us maintain social distancing for patients and staff within the building. Medications and appointments can be requested online and consultations also undertaken using the e-consult option on our website.
We thank you for your patience and support during these difficult times.
